Founded on April 27, 1987, the celebrated Michael’s On East restaurant takes fine dining to another level, offering award-winning cuisine and outstanding service, in an exceptional 1940s supper club atmosphere. Michael’s On East is one of only a handful of restaurants in the nation to be inducted into the Nation’s Restaurant News Fine Dining Hall of Fame, considered the Oscars of the restaurant industry, and received their 32nd consecutive AAA Four-Diamond Award in 2022. U.S. Airways Magazine also selected Michael’s On East as an "East Coast Icon", in good company with the ‘21 Club' in New York City.
Michael’s Wine Cellar hosts more than 1,000 international estate and domaine-bottled wines with specialized selections from France, South Africa, Italy, Spain, California, Oregon, Chile, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Amongst the hundreds of wines from all major wine regions around the world, of note are 200 estate and domaine-bottled wines under $20 as well as collectable vintages and rare Bordeaux wines.

Your wedding guests will be impressed by the fine cuisine and unsurpassed service offered in Sarasota’s only AAA Four Diamond Award restaurant, candlelight wine cellar and timeless ballroom with its adjacent glass-covered atrium on- premise in Midtown Plaza.
