Our new loyalty app is fun and easy to use. You will be instantly connected to everything you need as a member of our club. Once you download the app on either your Apple or Android device you will immediately gain access to your available points, your total points and status level. You can find out what rewards are available to you, share your points with friends or family, and redeem points for cash discounts on meals or products.

Join The Club

The Gulf Coast Connoisseur Club is the Suncoast’s most exclusive lifestyle rewards program, with opportunities reap rewards on luxury travel excursions, enjoy fine international wines and experience fine dining in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1998, the collaboration currently includes Admiral Travel International, Michael’s On East, Michael’s Wine Cellar and Michael’s Events & Catering.

Currently, more than 15,000 members are “rewarded for their good taste” through the loyalty program which accumulates points as members frequent each partner business. Members receive reward certificates based on their purchases, as well as exclusive invitations for special events, birthdays and anniversaries. GCCC partners also organize and lead exclusive journeys to the most exotic food and wine destinations in the world.

Membership Rewards

Earning rewards is easy! Simply sign-up to the Connoisseur Club by clicking “Join” above, text the word “Join” to 941-200-1930 or download our mobile app - answer a few simple questions and you’re done!

Members earn points for purchases. Once you reach reward thresholds, you are able to cash-in your points for money off your bill.

Rewards

250 points = $25
500 points = $50
750 points = $75
1000 points = $100

New members start out at Bronze status. As you spend more and achieve higher status levels; you'll earn points at a faster rate!

Earn Rate

Bronze members accrue 1 point for every $1.25 spent
Silver members accrue 1 points for every $1.00 spent
Gold members accrue 1 point for every $0.90 spent
Platinum members accrue 1 point for every $0.75 spent

Platinum 2500 - 9999 Points
Gold 1500 - 2499 Points
Silver 500 - 1499 Points
Bronze 0 - 499 Points

NOTE: Existing members prior to October 28, 2014 will be grandfathered in the Silver status earn rate or higher based on their current total point balance for the remainder of their membership. If the membership is inactive for a period of 24 months, the member will start at the Bronze level when rejoining.

  • Curious about Lobster Pot?

    TGIF: Thanks Goodness It's Another Lobster Pot Friday 1575 

    Yes, LOBSTER is still king on Friday nights in the Restaurant. Michael and Phil offer seafood lovers a “Lobster Pot” special every Friday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. for $38.95 per person. (No sharing please.) We’ll even provide you the signature bib to wear as you enjoy two 1 1/4 lb. live Maine lobsters, mussels, clams, new potatoes and corn on the cob.   • Why does it say Bronze status when I’m an existing member and grandfathered into Silver?

    Your status is technically Bronze, but your earn rate is Silver – for every $1 you spend, you earn 1 point. 

  • What does Lifetime Points mean?

    It is the amount of points you’ve earned from January 1st, 2014 to present day.   

  • What does Available Points mean?

    They are the total points you’ve earned since joining the club minus any rewards you’ve redeemed for purchases.

  • How are the status levels calculated?

    Your points are totaled from January 1st – December 31st and you are assigned a status level.  You remain at that status level the following year, unless your "spend" is greater than your current status level, then you automatically get bumped up to the next level.

  • My Available Points are higher than my “Lifetime Points”. Why am I still listed as Bronze?

    All of your points were transferred into the new program as of December 31st, 2013, but the levels are calculated by your spending habits starting January 1st, 2014.  So, you might have more Available Points than Lifetime Points, because we started tracking your points January 1st to determine your current status.

  • When I look at my History, I see a large number in green, then a large number with a minus in red at the very bottom. What does this mean?

    If you were a GCCC member prior to January 1, 2014.  We had to import your data from the old tracking company to the new one.  The data came in with 2 figures per profile – the green number, minus the red number was your total Available Points as of December 31st, 2013. 

  • What happens if I don’t use my membership in a 24 month period?

    Your membership goes inactive and you will start at Bronze level status when rejoining earning 1 point for every $1.25 spent.

  • What is the Status Level Program?

    Now you can enjoy your Connoisseur Club benefits in a whole new way! Introducing our new Status Level program.  All new members start at Bronze status.  As you spend more and achieve higher status levels; you'll earn points at a faster rate!

  • Why did my point balance go down?

    When you use a reward toward a purchase, points are deducted from your account as follows.

    $25 = 250 points
    $50 = 500 points
    $75 = 750 points
    $100 - 1000 points

    Points do not expire unless your account is inactive for a 24 month period.

  • Do I get points when I use a gift card?

    Connoisseur Club points will not be awarded on the value of Connoisseur Club gift cards, Michael's On East/Michael’s Wine Cellar gift cards, complimentary gift certificates, and Costco gift cards.  Points are only awarded on the balance of purchases before tax and gratuity and after any award redemptions.

  • I forgot my card. Can I still get my points?

    A staff member can look up your account by name, phone number or email address and add your points.  We are phasing out member cards altogether.

  • Why do you need my Birthday and Anniversary dates?

    We will send you an e-mail postcard, wishing you the best on your special day and give you 100 bonus points when you bring the postcard to dine in any of our establishments.

Restrictions

Individual transactions must be at least $10, excluding tax and tip. ** Points do not expire as long as the account is in active status. Accounts will be deactivated following a period of 24 months with no transactions. Any points on the deactivated account are removed and cannot be restored with the opening of a new account. Upon rejoining, you will start at the Bronze level.

You may combine points only with your spouse, not with any other member. Only the member paying the check may be credited with points.

To qualify for points on catered functions or private party functions held in the restaurant dining rooms, you must be an active Connoisseur Club member prior to booking the party or event. Any private function held in the restaurant with a party of 12 or more persons is considered a catered event. Reward points are NOT valid towards deposits or towards payment in full for catering or private party events.

No credit/refund may be given for any unused portion of a reward level. For example, if a member wishes to use a $25 reward towards a $20 transaction, no further credit will be issued to the member for the unused portion of the reward.

No points may be given on the value of Costco gift cards, paper gift certificates, Connoisseur Club gift cards or Michael's On East gift cards. Points will ONLY be given on the balance of the bill (before tax and gratuity).

Points for birthday and anniversary bonus point offers are to be issued at time of purchase only. Only one (1) birthday offer and one (1) anniversary offer per year may be rewarded.

The Selby House Cafe is excluded from the GCCC program.

Note: You must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate. Points have no cash value. By completing the membership application, you agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of the Gulf Coast Connoisseur Card program, all of which terms and provisions are subject to change.
