NEW! Catch a Flight with Michael's On East

“Catch a flight” without leaving Sarasota this summer!  Explore the world of wine through curated wine flights that rotate on a weekly basis.  Each flight is paired with exclusive culinary creations designed by Chef Jamil and his team to amplify the flavors of each wine.  Flights & bites are priced between $18-26 each week for three 3oz. wine pours and three tapas-style bites.

Available in the Lounge and in the Restaurant during lunch & dinner at Michael’s On East.

Garnatxa Blanca “Nomes” Castillo Perelada Emporda

REGION/VINTAGE: Spain 2017

DESCRIPTION: A full-bodied white wine that originated in Northern Spain. Intense flavors, higher alcohol content and plush style. Also called Grenache everywhere else.

BITE PAIRING: Scallop Crudo, Orange Segment, Chervil

Picpoul de Pinet, Moulin de Gassac

REGION/VINTAGE: Languedoc, France 2017

DESCRIPTION: Picpoul means “lip stinger”. A light, dry wine with high acidity. Grown in a terroir that benefits from the maritime influences of the Mediterranean.

BITE PAIRING: Salmon Tartar, Tobico Caviar, Wonton Chip

Viognier “Y Series”, Yalumba Cellars

REGION/VINTAGE: South Australia 2017

DESCRIPTION: A rich, oily white wine that originated in the Northern Rhône. A Wine Spectator “Top 100 Wines of the Year”.

Happy Hour in the Lounge
Enjoy $7 featured wines, beers and cocktails from 5-7pm Tuesday-Saturday, plus extended hours until 9pm on Mondays benefiting local non-profit organizations. And don’t forget our Lounge menu is full of delicious apps and snacks that pair perfectly with our featured drinks!

Monthly Wine Tastings At Michael’s Wine Cellar
Enjoy a casual, relaxing Saturday afternoon and discover 40+ fabulous wines at Michael’s Wine Cellar’s monthly Open House, a wine tasting experience with light bites offered. Admission is $10 per person. Advance RSVP not required. Event from 2-4pm.
