Michael’s On East is hitting the road to serve Selby Gardens visitors with its NEW restaurant-on-wheels, Michael’s Food Truck. The mobile cuisine food truck has debuted with a menu inspired by the Salvador Dalí: Gardens of the Mind exhibition on display in the botanical gardens. Guests can enjoy Michael’s Food Truck from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

While the Selby House Cafe will continue to offer guests healthy “grab & go” options for lunch and snacks, the new food truck will provide delicious, convenient, made-to-order meals during their explorations throughout the gardens. Visitors can find Michael’s Food Truck on the lawn in front of the Cafe, near the iconic banyan tree. 

Executive Chef of Michael’s On East, Jamil Pineda, created a special menu for the food truck, influenced by Salvador Dali’s life in Catalonia, Spain. “This is an exciting opportunity to immerse guests in the world of Dali through international cuisine. We’re bringing high-quality meals without compromising the taste and value,” said Pineda. “Michael’s food truck allows us to bring a mobile kitchen to Selby, so we can now serve a wider range of items to guests.”

The menu features the same creative cuisine you expect from Michael’s On East with a few Dali-inspired twists including a Spanish Bocadillo Sandwich, Costa Brava Chorizo Omelette, and Spanish Churros with Chocolate Sauce. Michael’s Food Truck also offers favorites such as the Jumbo Blue Crab & Maine Lobster Roll served with Parmesan Fries. 

The truck offers a variety of delicious menu items with prices ranging from $5.00 to $15.00. A portion of the proceeds from each food purchase will help to support Selby Gardens’ mission and programs. Admission to Selby Gardens is required. Michael’s Food Truck will also be available for catering events at Selby Gardens.
